Yor Bonuses?

The your get +100% loyalty bonus, does that make them impossible to flip through cultural influence?
In my current game im trying to flip some worlds through influence befor i start any real wars (Ive never even bothered with influence before) Ive been setting up influence bases/adding modules and have researched all the influence techs, ive flipped several thalan worlds but the most ive managed to do to the yor is to get a lil red unhappy face.

Will they eventually flip, do i need more bases, or am i just wasting time with them?

Loyalty just makes them less likely to flip when they are submerged in enemy influence. It's hard, but it's possible, so just keep spamming the influence bases until you get a response.

Yes. I flipped a yor planet. It was their last fortress, protected by a full orbit fleet of heavy fighters and frigates. They had the double ship HP thing and the fleet manager and I could not crack the shield. So I built 2 fully decked out Influence starbases next to the planet and it flipped after about 6 mos ...

hahaha i remember that story byram! I've got one aswell once, it was nowere near as dramatic as that though, they just had Jupiter after it became habital (this was on a giant map) and it was so seperated from the rest of them that they didnt even bother puting up cultural stuff, it was mine in i think 6 weeks or so, but thats only because it had micro amounts of population.

So to answer your question Vermicious, Yes it is posible... just not normal easy!

I flipped quite a few of their world at once it take about 2-3 maxed out culural starbases though so it doesnt come too cheap unless your evil
