What the max minor civs can you have?

I was doing some research here and...

I was trying to improve my Giantic Map here with a crap load of minor civs and leaving habitable planets to the minimum as possible. With 9 AI players and YOU along with many many minor civs, this would be interesting becuz when normal game begins it would flood entire galaxy within hours so what if most of these planets are already have minor spieces on it and it entirely up to you how you want to treat them.

Many power gamers would simply over run them for more powers.

So it is possible to add like 50+ minor civs along with 10 players in Gaintic Map? Leaving very little room for habitable planets.

I don't think this will work, unfortunately. First, the code assumes a certain number of raceIDs, ending with the Dread Lords. Second, minor races are placed based on the size of the map and the distance between each player, specifically to avoid doing what you want to do.

It would be an interesting scenario, though.

Only one way to find out...

Well unfort i did manage to make it happen, so far i got 20 minor civs running and still counting more, alot more.

I gonna put at least 99 or 100 minor civs, that gotta be interesting. This prob only work if you have create the proper game or load the scenario. So i made create (custom game) the setup here is...

Gigantic Map (18x18) that is 324 sectors
Habtiable Planets=Rare
Number of Planets=Abundant
Number of Stars =Abundant

I will let you know how things go in the next few days. If it is succesful i will post it at Star Trek Mod so if they approve it then you all can try it out.

For some reason the game still run but the code i put in at least 20 or less minor civs doesnt kick in. Unless they build a better software that allow users to add more options in GC2. Perhap in the furture.
