Mini map insert?

Just a thought.
When you are in the Colony Management screen it would be nice to have the Available Projects box be able to toggle to the mini map.
I tend to play gigantic map games and sometimes forget just where the planet, I'm looking at, is.
Would also be cool if all the functions of the mini map were available here also ... without leaving the Colony Management screen.

Oh ... And to be able to replace the "wireframe" image with a custom picture when you create a custom race.
