When will the turn button be fixed ?

Seriously it's getting downright annoying. My subconsious just wants to click it, and leave 90% of ships un-moved...

Is this really too much to ask for ? (something that 1.0 had working flawlessly)

Do we need to buy DA to get a working turn button ?

What exactly is wrong with it? We can't fix what we don't know.

I'm not sure if this is the problem for the OP, but here's why I have an issue with the "Turn" button. Note that I am still playing 1.2. It may be fixed in 1.3.

When I start a new turn, the "Turn" button is still green, as if I have used all my moves. This happens even if I have new ships launched and with no destination. If I choose a ship and give it orders (or if I use the "Find" button), then the "Turn" button goes back to grey until I issue all the orders. Most of the time I catch it (because usually I am eager to issue some orders). However if I spend a bunch of time dealing with colonies, relations, research, or other management stuff I may forget that my ships still have moves and click the green "Turn" button even though there are moves left.

Turn button works as designed in 1.31.  I don't know what issue the OP is running into or what version.

1.31. The problem is like conQuesci said. Thought this was a known issue, sorry should have been more clear there.

It seems to have broke in 1.2, and for me remains broke in 1.31. (why I thought it should be fixed by now.)

Actually, the turn button does not work "as designed." I am running the most current version of 1.31, and I have seen the same problem. This was a "bug" that was supposed to have been fixed as of 1.31, but obviously remains. Ships that are being moved manually (that is not on autopilot), still have moves remaining, but the turn button will be green, as though to indicate that all of the available ship moves have been used. Sometimes if I have a large number of ships in play, if I miss a few when cycling through them, I wind up moving on to the next turn, only to discover that I now have some ships that are "behind" where they could be. This can be a very annoying little bug, because it winds up forcing a certain amount of micromanagement with constantly having to check to make sure all ships really have been moved before ending the turn.

All bugs i had with the turn button were corrected with 1.31. Since 1.31 i have not had a issue with it and i have played maybe a dozen or so games since, both sandbox and meteverse. So i dont think that it is a community wide problem.......

I probably should have also said that post is meant for the devs so they know not everyone has this issue....I was'nt blasting anybody.

I also get this occasionally - but no big deal as I've got into the habit of always clicking "Find" before clicking "Turn".

Edit - most of the time the "Turn" button works correctly.

Here's a screenshot, from the start of the second turn after loading a saved game, where you can see a transporter with 14/14 moves left and the "Turn" button is green. V1.31

Hmm, I don't have that problem. Well, it does turn green right away, but its not a problem because at the beginning of the turn (right after all the news breaks, battles, and AI initiated discussions) the game auto-selects any ship with remaining moves and brings the camera to it. Once I give it a command it cycles through all the others. It doesn't leave me alone until I click the turn button or all the ships have used there move points.

That's a good point - the game auto-selects ships with movement left for me too and then cycles though all others with moves left. It's weird though, sometimes the "Turn" button is green at the start of a turn, sometimes it goes green part way through a turn, most of the time it behaves correctly.

As I said it's no big deal for me. At the moment I'm having much more trouble with a kitten playing with my speaker cables!

Sometimes when my last "move" of the turn is putting a ship into guard mode the turn button does not go green. Is that intended?
