I hope they do make it moddable..or make it so that we can choose with how many minors we can start.

I am not rav...but why not just make it as closer as its original ranger pin...use your artistic liscence star adder I guess anything closer to ranger pin is better than logo thats in mod now

I cannot build Centauri colony ships? can anyone tell me if this will be fixed or not, thank you

A nice galciv2-friendly replica of the Ranger pin would be perfect, sorry I didn't catch your post last time I checked the thread Star Adder. The current Drakh and Shadow logos were only supposed to be temporary - any ideas for their logos?

The problems people have been having with not being able to build certian ships is one of two things:

1. You must (as in MUST, it is in the readme twice for emphasis) click 'clear' after choosing your race. Lots of things will break if you don't first reset the race before customizing it. This is because the starting techs change between versions and the raceconfig files that get autosaved become a problem.

2. To build any ships, except for Colony and Survey ships, you have to create a design in the shipyard by clicking 'new'. Chose a hull and add components to it - the normal support modules will be there. Currently there are only two core ship designs, obviously leaving out the others was an error in judgement.

Though I have to admit I kinda like the current Rangers logo.

As for Drakh and Shadow logos I'm not sure. But the weekend is close at hand.
So who knows what I might come up with when my head hits the rim of the toilet seat...

why is one not able to build centauri colony ships? second i have clicked on clear and tried to redo the centauri's but the tech button is still dark and so i'm not able to choose this.

help please, otherwise this mod is useless since the centauri are my favorite race to play, thanks

In the race customization screen the 0.4 Centauri techs should look like this:

If you can see the 'Colonial' tech then you should be able to build colony ships via the in-game shipyard by creating a new design

Have you tried reinstalling the game, updating with new version and than installing B5 mod.Worked for me...

actually tried it one more time by clicking clear and this time it added the colonial tech in, so now i'm able to build colony ships, thank everyone for helping.

No, honestly I didn't have time yet to redo the Rangers, Drakh and Shadow logos.

GC2 needs to be at least version 1.2, that's when the mod folder started working.

Hi I played a game as humans and the game ran fine and was really fun.

So i decided to play as the shadows and I was like wtf? You can cant build colony ships so you cant compete. Yeah you might have a homeworld of stupid quality but you can still have very poor ecomomics and research. However their ships did appear to be stronger dont know why tho. Maybe give them planetery invasion at the beginning as this will make them a real threat.

On the removal of "Xeno Ethics", I am guessing by this, that we now cannot choose an alignment and we have to stay "No Alignment(Leaning to Good/evil/neutral)" eg in the end all the same or am i missing something? Which on a side note seems make the events a bit pointless, one is going to allways take the evil(maybe neutral) choice as there is no reason to not to now. So it seems to me all the races will end up being played the same unless you play under some made up personal rules.

But great to see B5 again.

I watched legend of rangers yeasterday.When the crew went in liandra class vessel they did some innitiate ritual.They all held a star with ring around it.It might be temporary logo until you find something better.

Wow...have not seen that decal in about 10 years. UFO was one of my favorite Brit Sci Fi imports. I remember seeing it back in 1971 or 72 when they imported here over to the U.S. I would love to see a modern redo of this series.
