Scrolling bug

Being pulled in to a black hole?

Please help, really enjoying the game but every now and then my screen just starts to move in one direction and stops scrolling at the edge of the screen. I can move the screen afterwards with the mouse but it just pulls back in the same direction till it stops at the edge again..

is my mouse being dragged in to a black hole? or what?

I get the same thing too, but I can make it stop by struggling the mouse over the ship builder button. Once an new screen has loaded, the mouse stops going wild.

Is the mouse pointer forcefully movng to one edge on its own, or is the screen scrolling without the pointer at an edge?

In either case, you can at least disable edge-scrolling by turning the speed slider for it all the way down in the options.

The Screen scrolls without the pointer being at the edge......Strange

Thanks for the help, hopefully that will work.


Anyway, I have a Razor Cooperhead mouse, don't know if it's a conflict with the game
at that, I doubt it but you never know.

This has happened to me on occasion. I have found another fix. When it has scolled all the way to the edge, Right click the mouse in the main screen area and control returns to normal. Not sure why, but it works for me...

I get the scrolling bug too. The screen starts moving to the right where at best I can move my mouse over to the left edge and attempt to stop the movement, but as soon as I let go of the mouse, the screen keeps moving to the bottom right corner and then shakes uncontrollably. I think it seems to happen if I zoom out using the scroll wheel whilst simultaneously moving my mouse cursor to the edge of the screen. I'm not sure if that's the exact cause, but I know the zooming out always plays some part in the scrolling bug popping up. I usually just do a quicksave then reload and that fixes things.
