Does anyone in here remember the Micronauts?

Was just killing time at work reading the forums and thought I'd take a look at the age question one again. In reading that there are a few "older" people in here, for some reason the saying "old space dog" came to mind. Next thing I knew I was thinking about "Dog Soldiers", the typical ground troops used by Baron Karza in the Micronauts saga's. They used to be an "action figure" type toy that eventually had their own Marvel comics run as well as guest appearances in the Marvel VS. series. I haven't delved into the Micronauts for quite some time so I don't know what resources there are out there (really haven't looked yet since I just thought of it). Since I am not a modder myself (but am definitely willing to learn at this point) I was wondering if anyone would think this would be a good idea for a mod. Again, I don't mod myself but if someone was going to attempt to do it, I would be more than happy to lend any assistance that I could to the project. I know I have some old toys, comics, and a few other tidbits floating around in the attic. Just a thought people. Be nice to see a reply as there could be alot of potential. Thoughts?

I remember the micronauts toys. Never saw any comics or anything, though. I used to have a bunch of them, but mostly when we played with them it degenerated into us shooting each other with their little spring-loaded rubber bullet guns.

My dad brought a few of those toys back from his stint in Okinowa in 1976. One figure was stored in an Egyptian sarcophagus, the other was in an Easter Island head. Much of the writing was in Kanji, except for "Micronaught". I recall the figures had silver heads... and I thing translucent bodies. I also remember my 3 year old brother shooting some guy in a Denny's restaurant with one of thier spring loaded missles. We bought more while we lived in Japan... wish I still had a few of them. I never knew they made it to the U.S. (comic and figures) until a few years ago, but am not surprised.

I had one of the older, cooler metal Micronauts - he had a rocket pack with fold-out wings, and I think he was called Time Traveller or something. I also had a bunch of the different-colored translucent plastic ones with silver heads and torso inserts. They made a bunch of vehicle- and space station-type things, too. I thought those looked like space-age hamster toys. Still wanted them, though...
