GAME IDEA!!!!

To add a bit more depth and complexity to the polotical aspects of the game, how about creating coalition governments option..

For example: If approval rating drops to a certain level during an election, instead of the winning polotical party completly replacing the losing polotical party and therefore the losing polotical party losing its bonus's (eg federalists losing eco bonus),

an option should be given were the losing party has the option of complete handover of power to the new party or enter into a coalition agreement with the new guys..

As for the party bonus's heres how:

For example..If federalists loose and join up with the technologists, then instead of the feds losing all eco bonus, they should looses 15% bonus and only have 5% bonus left and technologists apply only 15% of thier bonus in the coalition, that way the 20% bonus that all singualr party's have still remain..and over time individual party's should be allowed to recover themselves so at the next election their ready again..just like in real life.

I understand for this to happen the approval system and polotical structure have to be re-written to an extent in the game..but it dose provide depth and twists in the game and presents new strategic options...sorry if its been bought up before, but its a suggestion to the devs for GC3 or future patches of Dark avater or GC2.

I think they're doing things along that line for the expansion Dark Avatar, but hey, any idea can be a good idea!

With 4 exclaimation marks in the title, how could it be a bad idea?

Yes, a title that doesn't say much, in all caps and with exclamation marks - gotta love it.

I think people forget, losing the election is not sopposed to give you a bonus, this game isn't shooting for political realism, if you get both a percentage of your parties bonus's and the lost bonus gets the bonus from the other party then what's the point of elections in this game?
