I JUST DON'T GET IT!

Does anyone at all understand how to create themes and skins for Object Bar2?
Is Skinstudio, in it's present form anything other that a paperweight for this function?

I've read the tutorial yet the dent in my desk from banging my head is getting larger and deeper after 2 days of unfeathered weeping, sobbing, and gnashing of teeth trying to understand it all.

I just gabve it a go because I wanted to use OB to add a taskbar on my (brand new ) second monitor and tried to match up the look. I've managed to skin the taskbar buttons, however, for the love of sanity I can't work out to skin the actual bar background. At the moment it's the colour of the classic theme.

I even found it really hard to create a new OB skin in SKS. I ended up adding another skin to one of the skins that came with OB by accident. I had to move it manually.

I'm nothing less than astonished that an easy, step by step tutorial with screenshots has not been done yet. The tutorial here WWW Link is ok, but it just isn't good enough or workable for us to do anything with IMO.
