A suggestion...

Hi there!
New to the game, having fun, BUT(!!!)
I have just lost an hours 'work' by double-clicking a previous save, when I wanted to save my progress!

Therefore, I have a request for implementation of a confirmation dialogue when saving/loading a game, especially loading, which would be optional from within game settings.

If there already is such a setting, please let me know (with an optional virtual kick in the butt ).

I've done this as well. There was a thread about this a bit ago.

It was probably suggested too late to get into v1.3. Also it's probably not high up on the list of things for the future.

The only suggestion I have is set your autosave so that's it's a bit more frequent so that if you mess up you don't lose as much. Also I now tend to use quicksave a lot more frequently, particularily if I've just finished a long turn.

why don't you guys use the autosave option?
when my game crashes (doesn't happen much) i never lose more than 10 minuts.

This would be nice but in the mean time I set auto save for every turn. Also use quick saves as placemarks such as just before war.
