Backup copy of GalCiv II and Dark Avatar

Hi,

I have original copy of GalCiv 2 and I have just (3 minutes ago) pre-ordered Dark Avatar. I have downloaded GalCiv2 by the Stardock central (digital copy). So now I have a problem. Is it possible to make a backup copy of gamy on DVD ? How can I do this? Just copy? Can I download (via stardock cental) some special version (iso, setup version) of game and then burn it on DVD?

To make a backup just select GC2 in SDC, then go to File Menu>Archive Application>Entire Application. SDC will then generate a zip file in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Stardock Central\BACKUP. Just grab that file and burn it to a DVD.

If you later want to restore the game, just install SDC and copy that zip back from the DVD into the BACKUP directory, then pick GC2 in SDC and go to File Menu>Restore Archive.

Hmmm, well to be honest, since you can redownload the entire game from SDC at anytime if you have registered, it basically is a backup already... one that you will never have to search around for. Awfully convenient, especially if you have a decent connection, but yeah, the archive system is how you would make a physical backup, should you not feel like downloading something of that size.
