Custom Race - Stellar Cartography doesn't work

V1.31, no mods, gigantic map and choosing a custom race with the default technologies, and hence stellar cartography, only gives an empty mini-map.

I tried re-loading the game and unchoosing and rechoosing stellar cartography and same result.

Also choosing Technologists as the political party did not seem to give any research advantage until I reloaded - ion engine reserach time went from 7 weeks to 6 weeks.

Sorry my bad,

The minimap had defaulted to a display of only anomalies and hence nothing showed up.

I had used this setting briefly ina previous game, so I think not going to a proper default setting for the mini-map is still a bug although a very minor one.

The proper default setting is what you have it set at when you exit the game.
Your minimap settings are saved in the Prefs.ini file.
