1.3 back to 1.2

I updated from 1.2 to 1.3 and now I want to go back. I'm looking for the 1.2 patch but I can't find it on this site. Even the 1.2 patch in the Home page takes me to 1.3. Anybody have any ideas? I know that I'll have to reinstall then upgrade to 1.2 again.

My 1.3 games are slow slow slow. I'm playing a tiny game and am having to wait 1-3 minutes for the turn button to become active again. Talk about a long game I'd hate to try and play on a larger map.

Any help is appreciated.

Reinstalling the game doesn't take it back to v1.2. Reinstalling starts at v1.0 and I'm looking for the v1.0 to v1.2 version. All I've found is the v1.0 to v1.3. I can't find the v1.0 to the v1.2 version only. I don't want v1.3.

The full 1.2 update is 36MB. I'm not sure if it could be sent via e-mail, but it might be worth a try.

However, 1.31 is not inherently slower than 1.2. In fact, it runs smoother and faster on my machine. It might be a good idea to download the file from the Downloads section and install it from your hard drive, especially if you installed via Stardock Central the first time. Sometimes the updates through SDC don't go so well.

I feel ya Fatman139, my mod files are all screwed up because of 1.3, now I can't play using any mods.  

And for some reason, the game must not even know it's updated, when I play the game it says 1.2, and it IS 1.2, even though i've downloaded 1.3. Talk about turning my last few days into steaming piles of poo.

Thats because of what they did to the English.str file.

I just spent two hours writing strings to get INVADER-Mod to work again last night. Its in the modding section of the forum. I'm writing a Faq for it soon. I'm no good at readme.txts.

I have two suggestions. If you use Windows XP, you could back up to a date
before 1.3. I think that would work.

I do have 1.2. I am not sure how to get it to you. I think you could set up
a free Mediamax account and download up to 1 gig a month. I could upload
it and you could get it that way.
