1.31 bug

Updated to 1.31 and started a game as the Korx, I was moving right along and noticed my econ was dipping, Checked my domestic tab to find all but 2 of my trade routes had vanished. The UP had voted to limit evil empires to 2 routes. I had not picked an alignment yet so I checked the tab and the slider was all the way to the right (evil) but the text said no alignment, leaning evil. As a test I started another game as the Altarians and their slider was all the way left but the text read no alignment, leaning good. I never had it handicap me before I picked and alignment under 1.2 and 1.30

Also since I still have the 1.2 download can I just switch back to it until all the 1.30,1.31 bugs are fixed. 1.2 ran well for me except the AI was clueless.

Korx, Yor and Drengin are evil whether they have researched Xeno Ethics or not.
This seems to be working correctly now IMO.

as far as i know this is not a bug
you can chose your alligment by 3 ways.

* your race that you pick will already be leaning towards one of the 3 alligments
* the choices you make will effect if your good or evil
* after you researched that tech you can chose and stay either good/evil or neutral.

you were evil, so your trade routes were voted away
you could have stopped this by researching the tech and become neutral/good.

As long as an alignment has not been committed to, it should still be possible to choose Neutral or Good and regain the trade routes, shouldn't it?

Sounds to me like it is working right. Evil is evil even if you haven't got ethics and chosen your alignment.
