Trade Embargo Bug

Looks like I found a small bug. I shouldn't have any trade with the Korx, right? I just made a peace treaty with them but kept the embargo box checked.

The trade route was to Lasitus II that I got from the Yor when I made peace with them. Version is 1.3.

Just wondering, why would anyone want to use the Trade Embargo feature ever? It's like throwing money the other civs are giving you into the trash.

If you are the closest to an AI they will normally solidify their trade with you. However if you decide to stop trade with them you make them go past you to a new destination. Embargo a race a few months before going to war and you can hurt them seriously if most of their trade routes are with you.

Isn't that just cutting off your nose to spite your face? You make money from their trade routes too.

I agree with No118, keeping the trade route untill the war starts is normaly what I would do, otherwise while there damaged they try to prepare for what is normaly an easy to pick attack, its just like telling the bot your about to attack them, and there smart anough to know it.

It can be useful if you want to provoke someone into declaring war on you, thus saving yourself the reputation of being a warmonger.
