Playing Mods

How do you play mods?

Hi,
I'm not new to GalCiv but I am new to Mods.
Could someone point me to a topic that covers how to install and play mods?

Thanks and any other advice on mod playing would help also,

The instruction should be included with the mod.

Basically, the mod is installed to its own folder under the main Mods folder in the GalCiv2 folder. Then you select that as the mods folder in Options and check the Use Mods box.
