Espionage & Destabilization?

Reading over the manual it says there's supposed to be two sliders, one for Espionage and the other for Destabilization which lowers your enemies approval. I only see the Espionage slider, am I missing the Destabilization one? Or did it get removed from the game and not the manual?

Correct, destabilization was removed from the game after the manual went to print (the manual has to go out during the beta, and things are still subject to change then).

the destabilization thing was removed from the game around release (at least thats what I was told, so I don't know for sure when it was removed), don't know why though.

However, in Dark Avatar there will be enhanced espionage and something similar in concept to destabilization because you can mess with buildings on an enemy's planet.

There are many more things that are incorrect or obsolete in the manual because there have been so many changes, so it'll be easier to ask the GC2 community if you have questions

Also, if you want, you can join the GC2 IRC through Star Dock Central (a free application available in the downloads section on this website) and ask there or simply just relax around in general

"Dark Avatar?" What's that? Another version of GC to be released this early?

I miss using the destabilization feature...

Dark Avatar is the first expansion to GC2, due out this autumn.
