Two mini-map graphics bugs after 1.3 patch

After installing the 1.3 update and playing I encountered two graphical bugs that I never experienced before. At this time I do not have any details on what I was doing when they happened.

The first graphical bug had the mini-map not properly erasing the view box. So whenvever I moved the view using the mini-map the map would get covered in non-erased view boxes. So as I would drag the box around it would leave a trail of light blue which very quickly covered the entire map. I tried toggling on/off the different mini-map options, but the only way to clear it up was to save and reload the game.

Later in the game the mini-map again got corrupt. This time the entire mini-map graphics went corrupt. It was all "garbled" looking. Hard to describe. You could vaguely make out the map. I again had to save and reload to correct the issue.

The first is a known issue (it has an entire thread or two devoted to it) but the devs haven't been able to reproduce it as yet so they can nail it down. The second I've seen from time to time as well--another slippery beast, but at least it can be cleared by a save/reload or alt-tabbing out and back in AFAIK.

I learned in the the 'other thread; that switching to one cpu core (not both) might help if you are using a dual core machine. So far it is helping....
