Help I Messed Up My Config

Restore race config to default

I wanted to look at all the hull base models to pick a Ship Style for my custom race, so I edited the RaceConfig.xml file and added all the Hull techs to the Terran Alliance. Worked great, I started a couple new games and checked out all the models.

Trouble is, I restored the original version of the file but the Terran Alliance still has all the hull techs. This is after a couple game restarts and rebooting computer.

Any idea how to fix this short of re-install?

Delete the customrace.xml files from the main gc2 folder.

Hmmm, didn't see that file in my GalCiv2 folder. Tried searching *.xml under there and the only thing with customrace in filename is the tutorial file.

Ah, forgot they changed the name of it.

My docs-my games-galciv2-Terran Alliance.xml is the file you need to delete (originally named customrace0.xml, changed in 1.2)
