Mod Problems

WHY do I have no luck

Ok, I've followed the directions, I've even DL'd the KHSM mod. NONE of them work. When I goto to the options, NONE of the mod folders exist. The only folders that exist are Default and example. I have the retail version, and have dl'd all the stuff from Stardock.

Any hints?

Put them in the mods folder under the game's directory, not the one under My Documents.

And even then I had a hard time getting the subfolders to show up.
I think I finally clicked Change and selected the \mods folder and said Done, then the subfolders showed up. I had been trying to get the Star Trek mod working. I was finally able to select the correct folder and got it working.

Or, as I noticed, I have -2- Galc2 folders, weird hunh? I put it in both and voila, BUT like a fool I forgot to backup stuff, so all my stuff is wrong. Uh, reinstall I guess, correct?

If the mods are only in your mods folder then simply deleting them will suffice. However two instances of GCII are not right and you should look to a clean install after deleting the old ones. Best to use SDC for downloading the new game files if you do not have a CD backup.

YEA!! It all works now . .except for the NCC 1701 Constitution mod, anyone have that prob?

I have done something that I can not figure out. The planets and ships have disappeared on the map, all I get is the icons that you see when you zoom out. Any ideas what might have caused this and how I can fix it???????

Move the 'Tactical View Zoom Level' slider in the options screen rightward.
