new building or whatever

i was thinking of having some kind of musuem where automatically when you retire a design it goes one goes into it and gives you a small moral boost

Interesting idea, but too easy to exploit. You could simply make lots of empty designs and obsolete them over and over to get infinite morale bonuses...

You could adapt it to designs that have ships with a certain experience.
Like a hall of heroes.

Yeah, it does sound interesting, maybe the ship needs to serve for some years and have won a number of battles, be4 it becomes a legend, and when obsoleted to the museum, give a small % morale boost, and only a few ships can be obsoleted to the museum, or you can obsolete as many as you like, but the % boost can be caped at a certain %

Dont know itll happen though, but is always good to see ppl that keep coming up with ideas, right?

What would be kool is that putting all the community ideas in 1 game, that game would ownz, ill buy that game as soon as it comes out

i was mostly thinking about the flag ship becouse it shortly becomes useless but any empire would put it in a museum of some sort

just thought the morale could be a percentage of the cost of the design

You can upgrade the flagship. Considering it has usually found a TON of experience-building and hp-building anomalies, it can be a seriously powerful frigate once you have researched medium ship building. My last flagship ended the game with more hps than my largest battleship -- although much less attack/defense.

Since the enemy picks targets based on atk/(def+hp) they won't ever target the flagship among a fleet of larger vessels. I love to imagine the admiral on his personal cruiser directing the fight among his crew of experienced officers.
