If English is indeed your first language, perhaps you should work on:
1. Capitalisation of I and the start of your sentances
2. Spelling and Grammar
3. Spaces at the start of a new sentance
4. Paragraphs

Frankly, even if English was your second language, that's no excuse for 1, 3 or 4. If you do have a history degree, you must have done essays, and I can't believe you'd have passed writing like that. Until you do this, you'll have trouble with people not taking you seriously.

So, you got As and Bs in your astrophysics classes. At high school, I assume? As you say, that does not make you an expert in astrophysics. In fact, it makes you an armchair physicist. I respect your degree in History, but that is irrelevant to this particular discussion.

Now, I ask that you respect the fact that I am two years into my Physics degree. (Yes, I know, everyone on line is an expert programmer, scientist, lawyer etc., but in this case I actually DO study physics.)

I would also not refer to myself as an expert in astrophysics, but I do know that Wormholes are the work of sci-fi, not of science (they have their origins in science, but I don't think there is any actual theory that involves wormholes). They certainly aren't mini-black holes.

I'll bow to flayed_one's knowledge on the Schwarzschild Radius, it sounds like he knows what he's talking about, and there aren't any errors that I can see.

First of all, not in high school but in colledge.
Second of all, I did say that I respect flayed_one's knowlegde on the Schwarzschild Radius and the fact that I had failed to notice it does not mean I that I am an idiot. He added to my knowlegde and I appreciate that.

Thirdly, I did not say I was an expert in astrophysics, only in history(I have a certificate to prove it).

Seventh,Why I wanna give guys a challenge:can you think of any type of armour that is featured in galciv(no matter how advanced)that can withstand against anti-matter.you can even make up your own weapons and armour and hope frogboy will notice it.or you can post new ideas in your own posts.

Theres thousands of toms of meteorites that hit earth every year but get consumed on reentry, just imgagine they are not using 500 metere wide astareoids, maybe 50 meter or so, enough to destroy static targets, and military positions.

I did not put thought on that before but did it ever occur to you that wouldn't a 50 meter long asteroid burn up in the atmosphere.it wouldn't make it to the surface.and if it did it would so little damage you would think somebody dropped a bowling ball from an airplane.it happened a long time ago and hit some guy's car.I saw it on discovery( it really looked like somebody dropped a bowling ball from an airplane)only a 500 metre long asteroid could do real damage.why do you think astronomers keep looking for the(specifically mentioned)bigger-then-500-metres asteroids.

But not half as many as you. Just because you're on the internet, that doesn't give you an excuse to drop your standards. Besides which, it was the lack of paragraphs, spaces and capital letters that made your posts the most difficult to read.

Any sufficiently thick armour will withstand an antimatter attack. As the antimatter impacts with the matter, the two will annihilate. If there's enough armour, all the antimatter will be destroyed before it breaches the hull. There's also the factor of the energy that would be released by this annihilation of course, but thick enough armour would protect you against antimatter.

A black hole, on the other hand, would suck the armour into itself, which would only increase its mass and make it even more unstoppable.

EDIT: There are no wormholes in science. They are based loosely around the idea that space gets 'bent', but the idea that you could somehow bend it so much that you create a tunnel between two different places is just fiction, plain and simple.

Its what the community wants and how many games he can sell that matters. We want T.C we get it or we don't buy GalCiv III or the expansion. No planetary bombardment same thing. And every time you say the AI can't use it or it can't be done. All we have to do is point at (Ascendancy) (Tile bombing) or Master Of Orion II to prove you wrong.
