modules for starbase

I need some advice. My game manual got lost while moving, and being a new player, I can't figure out what to do with a starbase once it is built, or how to install a module. The only option that is highlighted is "destroy' and I really don't want to do that!
Can someone please help? I have one economic and one military built so far but I am lost on what to do next. thanks in advance everyone!

Just send more constructors, and you'll get an upgrade prompt.

BTW, the manual is also included in the game's directory in PDF format. There should be a link to it in the launcher.

You need to have the technologies that allow modules. For military bases, Starbase fortification, for instance. For Economy/Resource bases, the industrial techs are required, etc.

Then build constructors and send them directly to the starbase you want to build up.

Alright so.. I'm sitting here at work, reading these forums and suddenly I realize my time could much better be spent finally reading the manual that came with the game (My after work time is obviously better spent playing)

Is there a place I can just download the pdf manual?
