What is this game all about?

First off, slow down a little. Your post is barely coherent. There are lots of people who will be happy to help you, but you need to express yourself a little more clearly.

The game is about galactic domination of one race over the others by one of four ways. Military conquest or cultural domination or diplomatic unification or asendency to a all powerful being via technology. U can quote me on that.

Of course that explanation, does not even come close to describing the fun, addictivness the game is in getting there.

On top of that the ship designer is a independent software tool in its own right, allowing u to create any starship u want from any sci-fi source.

Finally u can mod the game to your hearts content. Worth every $.

But at the end of the day, in our roles as evil, greedy, soul eating capitalists, our job is to make sure the game is profitable. That way, we can drive around in our gold plated rocket cars and sneer back at the people who gave us wedgies in high school.

Actually I think they made it cause they like making games and the cash doesn't hurt either prob.

One of the biggest attractions of GC2 is the AI. It does not cheat -- however it is given economy bonus's at higher difficulty levels. The AI does not treat the human player any differently than it does the other AI players.

The game has a steep learning curve and quite a bit of depth. The campaign is suppose to help ease a player into the game and give the player a sense of the story behind the game. But the strength of GC2 is in the "sandbox" games.

The updates are all about making the game better and they do do that. Update 1.2 is a very good game and 1.3beta 2a plays good for me.

There is an expansion planned that will expand the gameplay -- for instance they are going to add more depth to espionage.

You should design your own ships. There are mods that people make for custom ships designs. Not into that but believe there are both Star Trek and Babylon 5 mods. Think if you look in the library, you can see what has been made and shared.

No multi-player in the game. You can play and post games to the metaverse -- but you can not use mods in metaverse games.

I suggest you read all the pinned posts on the forum.

For strategy tips, I suggest you do a forum search for either "masochistic" or "suicidal" and read poosts related to strategies.

This game would own online and i would not cost to much to pay for the server to run this great game online. thats cost as in the game developers view not mine. Online would attack more poeple to the game as so many poeple are discoverying the online world of gameing, and the social side of it to. It would also teach people the meaning of respect for the other player, and i will creature more gameplay options like point/scores for wining games, like item/tech shops and making new ciziations will help this will help bring more unqnieness..... i could go on but not many poeple would read it,

Multyplayer has been discussed many times... and it would not be any good since average game length is several hours for 1 person. And it atleast doulbes with 2 people.

What is this game all about? i will pay this game if you tell me what all the addons updates and new content which was add, i have only ever played the trial versoin of game which i fort was a exc 10/10, before i pay it, i was also want to ask what are the things you can do like make ships, and is there an online world so to speak, i want to know the ture meaning of the game and why the devopler made it. No multiplayer. It's nothing to do with the server, you have to write the game first. And Stardock have said that right now, it doesn't look worthwhile.
