i dowloaded the RAR file....now what do i do with it????

you need winrar to open it

download winrar and it works just like zip file,you can find it from winrar.com i think or somthing like that. i downloaded earlier today and can i just say proper form, what a great job was done on the mod. i cant wait to put some serious time in on it.   keep up the good work lads .  

you might need to go download the a utility to unzip it... My fav for .rar files is winrar, you can get that here:

I love ST; So this mod is something Ive been wanting for a while.. I run a clan forum called SPDS31, or S31 for short.. Anyway I would be willing to give you an ftp up to 10gigs or so on a hi speed server ive got at 1and1.com, for as long as you need.. Only drawback is my url before your file link.. example: "www.s31clan.com/your-directory/your-file-name".. Just an offer you would have ftp straight to your dir.

I cant offer anything to help you guys other than this, & I really am happy about this mod

I have also posted at this mod's wesbsite, but figure I should do so here as well.

I cannot play this mod, despite having installed it correctly. The opening movie and main menu work fine, and I can load a game. However, after closing the initial tech selection screen I crash to the desktop.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the support! Now I'd like to admit something, I'm playing it for the FIRST time tonight Han and Knight blade it before it was released, but I didn't get the chance because of taking care of the website details! Even though I saw it before, I still think Han's intro and borg planet attack scene on knight fedreation cmoputer screen opening is the best!

Great work guys. Usally just a lurker, but had to say thanks for the good work. Noticed the same bug as some others with Borg ships being invisible and CTD after battle with these ships.

I've been cruising the forums while working on our Tech Tree. Ferengi ships are done, we just didn't have the time to get them into this mod. Cardassians are pretty much done also!

I corrected as many of the Borg ship problems as I could, if you can leave the name of the ships that aren't appearing on OUR forum (don't want to clutter this place up). I'll take care of those sooner as well. I haven't noticed any, but this thing is huge, always room to miss one!

Just one question - Will this mod work on games that are already started or must you begin a new game after the mod is installed?

All mods work only on new games. Just the way the game is designed. You MUST be using 1.2 or higher. Only way for it to work because they changed the way the mods worked for the better with that version.

I loaded it onto thr right folder and did what the README file said, but when I click Change, the ST mod doesn't show up

What do I do?

Great mod guys. I know it's still a beta version but it's still awesome. I did want to point out a few things I noticed during gameplay.

1. Romulan freighters are invisible.
2. Escort ships that are created by the computer AI are also invisible.
3. The game crashes sometimes during full battles. Especially if battling the invisible escort ships.

Once again, great mod. I hope my observations help.

We are taking care of the invisible ships and hopefully this will solve the crashing as well, my guess is the computer is having a hard time exploding something that isn't there.

Uhm, I dont know how to install the mod , it only has a data folder... Where are the intructions or readme, or can some1 tell me where to put it?
