Pre-ordering Dark Avatar

I have another issue - I want to pre-order this as a gift for a friend. How do I go about this? Are there any issues?

Evil Muppet, supposing that Stardock business will be as usual, you'll be able to download Dark Avatar via the Stardock Central application (and only there). You'll need to enter the received serial in there once, and then you can download the game. But you don't need anything special (except your billing information, of course) to order the game.

V1m, you can use different billing and shipping information for your order. And there is an option for "Check here if this order is for another person other than yourself". Just have a peek in Stardock shop.

I really want to preorder Dark Avatar, but on the shop page I see no way of entering my ID.

You should be able to go to the listing of DA on TGN ( http://totalgaming.stardock.com/games/?id=gc2da ) and preorder directly from the TGN site. You should already be logged in there if you're logged in here (most SD sites share login cookies), so when you preorder it will be added directly to your account.

Does anyone know if the Dark Avatar download is available yet? Please let me know asap

DA will not be released until later this year. There may or may not be a beta for preorder customers, but not for a while if at all. Until then there is nothing to download.
