Enviormental Disasters and random Encounters

I would like things to be more chaotic to lessen the repetitivness

Seems Like lately My Games Always Evolve the same way .I almost always end up researching the same techs .I almost always End up with the same ship build(cosmetic additions not withstanding)I research the least common weapon and defense to make my ships more effective.I add to my planets in the same way.
What I would like to see are some cool enviormental things to happen here are a few examples
#1 Supernovae . Every so often A whole system goes Boooom! and its home star explodes.(this would be a very rare happening .)but nonetheless maybe A solar terraforming tech could be added to prevent it.

#2 Galactic Lifeforms other than races. Wandering space predators or Creatures to be harvested for massive ammounts of production. would function like a race as in needing to preserve itself has its own weapon, defense, speed, hps . Eats races ships \starports, planetary improvements . Only killable by A fleet of medium str ships . would only eat 2-4 planetary improvments then move on to new star to prevent early game wipeouts.(researchable monster defense, attack, harvesting techs.)

#3 Diseases both good and bad(Goodwould add to some random total such as production, research, influence, morale, economy, birthrate ect...) and the Bad(would lessen on of those totals.)

#4 and natural disasters on planets themselves such as Hurricane,Tornado,Earthquake,Flood,Volcano, Ect... which could destroy(or Add ,small chance) planetary tiles or just remove whatever improvement which resides on that tile .

These are just A few things you could add to make this already awesome game resolve differently every time you replay it . Anyone got any other cool Ideas . post them here

Funnily enough most of those already exist in the game. However they are turned so far down that they hardly ever happen

Be nice in the future if the Stardocky people could up the chance of the random events again!!

Supernovae, eh?

Did you know that we haven't had one in the milky way since 1604? Yup, not a single one during 400 years amongst half a trillion stars or so. So much for a veeeeery rare event. Drives our astronomers crazy.
