Help with a Serial issue

I literally just recieved a factory sealed copy of Gal Civ 2 from Amazon. Every time I try and register it, it says the key is invalid. I'm staring at the sticker on the back of my cd case as we speak. No variation of the letters and numbers seems to be working. Any help would be appreciated. From what I've heard the original version of the game is kinda buggy, so I was hoping to DL the updates before I bothered playing.

Does the serial you're using start with GC2 and contain dashes, or is it a single string of letters and numbers 28 digits long with no dashes in it? The one you need to register with should be like the latter. Also, it should only contain letters A through F. If it contains any letters after F, you should contact [email protected] and they can fix you up.

If the only serial you got begins with GC2 and contains dashes, you should be able to trade it in for the one you need at https://www.galciv2.com/paradox. If that doesn't work, contact [email protected] and again they'll fix you up.

Do you have one of the GC2 numbers?

If so please vist http://galciv2.com/paradox and enter your email address and the GC2-... serial number that's on the back of the jewel case. Your game will get registered and you will be issues a 28-digit number which you can use activate GalCiv.

Yeah, mine has dashes and the GC2 at the beginning, so I guess that's my problem. I'll try the link you both mentioned. Thanks for the help!
