Fleet Mangement Error

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but it bothers me so it is a bug to me.

lets say I have a full list of ships in the center panel of the user interface and I want to create a fleet by slecting each one and then clicking the create fleet button.

If I select the ships from the top down left to right a fleet will be created and there will be no active ship or fleet selected. If I do it bottom up, right to left a fleet will be created but it will be active. This makes any other fleet made exceed the logistics points and i have to manualy unselect the fleet i just made.

is this a bug or feature?

I'm not sure what exactly you speak of... but I do know that sometimes after making a fleet that fleet is selected, and other times the fleet won't be selected.

I don't have the game running in front of me right now, but is the order you select the ships the only thing you're doing differently? Like, when you go left to right are you also selecting all of the ships in that tile for your fleet whereas you aren't going right to left? Or are you selecting the exact same ships each time, just in a different order?
