Don't know if anyone else got this

Hey all, just got the game last week, and enjoying it. I'm completely new to this, debugging and all, so bear with me.

This is odd. I just downloaded 1.3b patch, and everything was fine, until the program crashed turning the turn. It totally locked up the computer, forcing a manual reboot. And then I noticed something. I could not get online at all. my computer said the internet was out. I've rebooted several times, played around with my router, rebooting after every change, annnd.. nothing. Finally, I uninstalled the game completely(I didn't make a backup at the stardock central, unfortunately), rebooted, and voila, my internet is up. And before you ask if it was the servers, it wasn't. I got two other computers on the router, and they saw the internet fine.

I'm going to try installing the game in the morning, then patching with the beta again. I will try to get the exact debug info, if anyone can tell me how to.

I'm betting it was related to the memory bug in the first 1.3 beta, which is fixed in 1.3 beta 2.

Possibly, but he didn't indicate that he tried playing the game in between reboots while things weren't working. I wouldn't expect that GalCiv installs any drivers or other system components when it installs, does it?
