Why can't you change race names anymore?

I liked how in the first Gal Civ you could change the names of the races. It wouldn't be all that big of a change to be featured in like 1.3 or maybe 1.4?

You can still change the race name, on the race cusomization screen.  Just click on the name of the race.

Flayertim you can always alter the following: -

RaceConfig.xml

CustomPlanets.xml

English.str



That way you can call them whatever you want.



PS dont forget to delete your prefs.ini or for some reason the changes wont show

hmm, i *think* just going into a race calling it XYZ then clicking next and going back, to your race, in your game they'll be called XYZ.
