Did you download the beta v1.3? I've heard people say that was one of the bugs that comes with beta.

Change your regional settings to US English, that bug is apparently caused by the game not correctly recognising the european 1.000,00 decimalisation.

I can confirm this bug with beta 1.3.
Changing back to Ver. 1.2 settled that.
As I am to lazy to change the settings (using Germany with us-game)
I will wait on another beta/final patch 1.3.

AMD 3800
GF 7800 GT (FW 84.21)
RAM 2GB

Using German settings will cause crashes with older versions aswell. 1.3 is just more noticable.

Ehm, this bug still exists with 1.5, will this be fixed ? I would rather not change my entire PC to US-english everytime I want to play galciv2.

I'm running version 1.5 atm.

I did a bit more reasearch, and I have the bug because my locale is set to US english, but my number format is changed to European. I prefer to have english locale so that's why I have the weird combo. I have now switched my locale to Dutch(Belgium) and the problem is fixed.

I dont know if this then still qualifies as a bug or a glitch.

If it could be fixed it would be nice, but it's fixed for me.

I hope this might help anyone in the future.
