can't load saves

I've been having trouble with my saves. I can save without any problems, however, when i go to load the save at a later time my entire computer crashes and i get a blue screen saying that the computer prevented a critical error from occuring. This has happened every time i try to load a save. Is there anything I can do to prevent this or is it beyond my fixing at this time?

Galganov: I would suggest sending in your debug.err file located in the GalCiv2 directory to [email protected] . It would also greatly help if you could send in one of your saves (in a .zip or .rar please!) and we could try to reproduce the problem here.
