Ship-mods with German version... how?

Hy everyone,
I just bought my Collectors Edition and I LOVE this game. But naturally I'd love it much more if I could use all the great ship-mod's out there.

My problem: I got a german version of the game and installed an english 1.2patch.
This alone doesnt cause any problems (aside of weird english-german language mish-mash)

The REAL Problem is that I dont have a CalCiv2/ships folder... which where I should put the custom ship files...

Any suggestions ?

why don't you uninstall the game and get the English varsion? oh and there is two folder of ships:

1. in your mods folder in the game folder: \Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Mods\Default

2. in your "My documents" folder in my games Galciv2 ships - \My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\ships
