New Ship Designs / Upgrades

Need help. I can't obtain new ship designs or upgrade my existing ships. For example, I have Stinger II and Xeno Industrial Theory which should allow me to build a missle boat but I don't have that as an option in the Starport. Am I missing something?

Very often you also need a certain level of sensors or life support. Or miniaturization.

Check in the tech tree. Find the listing for missle boat and it will tell you all that is needed.

Also FYI that you can design your own ship that will be much better then teh missle boat.

Or go to the shipyard option and design your own, you will be far better off then using the stock ships.
