game loading larger than monitor

Can somebody help?
I,ve been running game on vista for awhile now and everthing is okay. except for the vid drivers arnt the best. For some unknown reason the game started to load were you could only view the upper left corner of the game. witch takes up the whole monitor. I have not changed resolutions but have tried to corrct the problem. I,ve tried everything incluled reinstalling the game and nothing helps. Any ideas????

Try deleting the Prefs.ini file, located in the My Documents\Games\GalCiv2 folder.
That will force a default setup and a resolution of 1024x768 to be used the next time you start the game.

Or you could open the file in Notepad and edit the resolution directly.

Awesome, that worked, Thankyou , just one other question is how could have this have happened.could it have been done by comp or did it have to be manuely done?

If you changed the video drivers, it might have changed your desktop resolution.
