Looking to Serve

Hi everyone, I have been playing for about a month or so and feel that I am ready to start playing on the Metaverse I have been watching the boards here, and elsewhere trying to soak up as much information as possible to help with my game play. Everyone has different play styles and this is openly displayed within the forums I have read over. Oddly enough the questions I have about the game deal directly with the Metaverse itself.

The Empires specifically. These Empires fight for control of the universe by playing and submitting games on the Metaverse? Who decides what section of the universe is given as an Empire increases its might? Is this might increased via wins? points? members? Can an Empire lose a portion of the universe they already control to a rival Empire? Does anyone know if Stardock plans to expand on this Empire idea?

Lastly, If I am going to spend the time trying to conquer galaxies on Metaverse, I would like to do so for a purpose higher than myself. So I guess, to put it bluntly, I am looking for a home, an Empire. A place I can hang my hat at the end of the day and speak of my adventures. I tried the whole leadership role thing, running a guild named Paradox ** Dark Ages of Camelot , Lancelot ** and found after much success and bitterness that I am just a good general. I like to blow stuff up... don't care to much for the diplomacy thing anymore. So if there is an Empire out there looking for someone like me, let me know. I am looking for an Empire to serve.

i dont really know about the metaverse thing but wouldnt it be easier to stick with the guild you created in the 1st place

Different Game, Different Time, and again..... good General, tactician, strategist. I Do not want to run my own Empire. You spend way to much time with clerical matters and not enough time "blowing stuff up".

Still no comments about the Metaverse Empires? I thought maybe these would be standard questions. At least I am not on here asking for Multiplayer or Transports with guns! I am not asking about matter and dark matter here... hehe
