Interesting... Some Statements: Our Team did not offer any bad tones towards the other team, we are not like that, I don't know what Master U wanted to tell you guys, but this is his statement and should be taken like this. I'm 100% sad that there is no way to join our forces, Renfl declined my idea to merge our Power and ideas as I thought this would be the socialst idea. that's why We make an own Mod.
In the opposition We are a bit upset that the other team takes much of our ideas, but I can't tell you guys something, Ideas are ideas and when they are out, they will spread in many minds and influnce everything, therefore the news i put on this page are limited cause when there will not be a merger, we shouldn't influence ourselves by the opponent, That's my statement.

I founded this team Long ago and founded it not only for myself what renfl thought and maybe still think of me. We splitted up and thats a reason of missunderstanding not a lack of directions, we was nearly finish before we split up and thats what I don't understand, but I look forward although we had to start from nearly scratch and like to work WITH my team and I do it with soul and show my team that I respect them, thats what divides me from Dustin(renfl).

ANYWAY I don't like that the other team is playing our possibilities of creating an own identity out in the way that we 1. start to make the future and they are coming us very close with the future and everything we want to do (future ships) , what I don't understand as beeing nice and social.

My computer was hacked into....I had to completely erase it, also, they used it to go into the awardspace.com account that had our site, thus the move.

this forum is not updated at all.. there are some posts I didn't see at first and they posted before me so here is the completed post:

all that modding stuff should be solved now, I really really didn't mean to write anything that will heart the SW and ST relations, since posts that have been posted few days ago can't be edited (don't know why) I can't change my post but if I had access to it, I would change it, cause no one here is influence anyone, so all this should be stopped, we need to help each other not to get mad... what I'm saying that you need to forget about what I said cause I'm just stupid, you guys helped us a lot (the SW mod team) the Falcon is GREAT, Stefan is working on a ship for us, that's so generous, and it's a good thing to do, I can help anyone that needs help, you BOTH got AMAZING mods, all the ST universe is more then SW one, you got more people that like Star Trek, the Star Wars ones are pretty small group, (I say that cause I know that if it was a big group, someone would post a post about our mod already right?)

the point:

let's just keep on doing the mod everyone to his own, and we will help each other if help is needed, cause when it comes to modder to modder, we should all think on one thing: Let's mod this game to very end of it! to reach every possible point until all the game is completely the way we want it to be!

Perhaps you misunderstood me as well, I was simply trying to say that with Renfl's mod teams recent setback, and how it happened, a comment like that, intending to be humorous or not, doesn't exactly paint your mod in the best of light. It's like a accused killer being asked if he threatened to kill someone and the killer saying "Sure I threatened them, which time are you talking about?". It kinda just makes him seem guilty. Honestly, I'll dl both mods and the SW and then I'll prob merg them and B5 all into one. If you guys are going to compete with anyone shouldn't it actually be the STAR WARS mod? Anyway, why don't we all just get along.

After I settled down a while I decided to put my 2 cents in.

@Master U I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt. It’s quite obvious that the English language isn’t your first language so please be careful with your sentences.

@Terraner05 I think there is a lot to be cleared up here. I have been very quiet regarding this subject but I feel the need to speak up. The reason why we decided to start another mod was the fact that there was very little direction in the mod you started. Three of us left because of this. Sorry, but you can deny that fact all you want but it doesn’t change the truth.

As far as your team being upset about us taking your ideas, get real. Your team hasn’t released anything yet so how can you say we stole from you. You don’t even have a website yet. We had the ships from Star Trek past, present and future a long time before you decided on this whole “future” thing. We haven’t taken one thing from your mod and we won’t. You have my promise on that. I have nothing against you or your team so please stop the poor me routine. Why have you chosen this forum to disrespect my team? I have always shown you respect. If you have problems with someone on my team you bring it up to them not in a forum where everyone can read about it. So instead of worrying about past events Terraner05 why don’t you move forward and work on your mod.

In summary the difference between the two Star Trek teams is this. The team I’m very proud to be a part of isn’t putting out a mod, it’s an experience. Everything will be Trek like. From the ships, ui, movies, weapons, etc will be changed to give the player a Star Trek feel. We have worked very hard and triumphed through the recent adversity. Our next beta will be released soon. Anyone is welcome to try out our work but I offer some friendly advice. Please be courteous when posting about other peoples work.

Easy everyone (this is Puma for those who know me as that name) I would ask that no one make comments that start up that tired argument of why we got split up on this forum but if you want to solve the issue lets find a chat somewhere to deal with the issue. As for stealing ideas, back when we were one group we had a lot of ideas that had not appeared in other Mods (such as a new tech tree). After you guys left you continued to use some of those ideas that some people on our team gave. They are unhappy because they gave them to the first team not yours and they feel that their intellectual property has been stolen. All though I agree with them I also understand that you may have come up with them without their input anyway and to ask you to not use them is unfair because that close to many doors for your Mod. As for not releasing a mod we were about to put things altogether before you left and release a Mod, but you guys were our model converters and we have been unable to get a program that we need to convert our models (we got a program that should have worked but it was damaged). All of this really does not matter that much since our mod will be better then your's no matter what you guys do(just kidding Renfl). As time has gone on we have healed some of the damage done in the split up (info and material has been shared by the teams), and I would hate to see all that ground lost. I would like to see people talking back a forth and face to face so that we can get more of this problem dealt with.

Why don't both teams help each other out while still making seperate mods, if ST taught one thing it was that people are better working together then competing or working against each other.

As far as I'm concerned this was a dead topic. It isn't my team that keeps bringing it up. Really I have no time for such meaningless conversations. I have better things to do like work on Star Trek Gal Civ 2!

Stealing a tech tree idea? Are you for real? Sorry Puma, but that was brought up FOREVER AGO ON THIS FORUM. That is like saying "I think we should make a car that has better protection" and then blaming the competition for putting in side air bags. Intellectual property wasn't even stolen, especially if thats what you mean, please check out the Gal civ 2 forums, posts have been made out side of the Star Trek team MANY times concerning topics versus more than 6 hulls, seperate tech trees (infact I wouldn't doubt thats where Stefan learned how to do his individual tech tree that he originally said was impossible )So I wouldn't really lay claim down to being the originator of the Individual Tech Tree per race idea, it was around long before it was ever brought up by our group (the original team).

Infact, if we are going to be blamed for that, I blame you guys for stealing the updated planets idea, I know I've seen updated and higher quality planets for Star Wars in the Gal Civ 2 library...We all should be put on trial for stealing the idea of having more hulls in the game than the original one, I seem to remember a mod allowing you to use all hulls and extras before Cari made the All Hulls Mod, so under that logic, I guess I should blame her for stealing Kryo's idea. (j/j here guys).

We were never close in the old team to releasing, that was a fairy tale, especially if you compare what we did have in that one, to the first release we did.

some facts: I was the guy of our First Together Mod Team who made the idea of an individual Techtree, so that every race has its own weapons.

then my next point was that it is possinle to make as much shipstyles as we want by using this individual Techtree and I tried it but the AI didn't used the ships so I was wondering and powered down on 6 races, I declined the fact that it is possible to integrate more than 6 shipsstyles, yes but AFTER I had the IDEA! thats what you told the people in this forum otherwise!
I found a solution , it was the shipconfig and this is what to change when you want the AI to build them!

@ han: We was nearly finish with a beta in the old team and the directions where allways there ( In the Mod committee forum and many posts in the breakthrough area) You didn't read the posts clearly thats what I see ...sorry I probably had to write it in xxl. It's interesting that just renfl and you don't know the directions, and the other Members knew it allways (knightblade was a new member just 4 days and I understand why he didn't know that and left) , thats what was lying on my tongue a long time, but I don't hit you for that but I show this to you as the reason.
