INVADER-Mod was originally created for Master of Orion 3. A game that was fundamentally broken. A group of modders came together to both fix the bugs in the spreadsheets and ASM coding. The current version of INVADER-Mod for Moo3 fixes nearly ever bug in the game. In Moo3 Races would not invade. They would invent planet destroyers and simply destroy all the planets. I fixed this by forcing the AI to Invade every time. A Modder named Bhruic also created a ASM coded mod which turned the planet destroying weapons into "invasion guns" To make a long story short GalCiv2 uses bascially the same spreadsheet modding as Moo3. Thus parts of INVADER-Mod for Moo3 can be added to GalCiv2. Increasing invasions, Adding new EVIL governments that are un-politically correct. (Communism, Fascism) religious Etho's. Weapon balancing. Alot of work and balancing will go into this mod. And will most likely be worked on for years even after Stardock has discontinued support.

You can teach the AI how when and in what order to invade using the invasion tactics by editing. InvTactics.xml

Right now I have it setup:
First Choice Blitzkrieg. If invented
Second Choice Mini Soldiers. If invented
Third Choice Genesis Bomb. Restore planet If invented (class 24 INVADER-Mod 4.0)
Fourth Choice Magma Warfare. Destroy planet If invented (class 1 INVADER-Mod 4.0)

I'm also thinking of setting up Magma Warfare to where if a planet is attacked with it. It at least has 1 square left on the planet. (a class 1 planet.) So that planets can be restored. (NOTE: this is a BUG in INVADER-Mod 3.0 where the AI can destroy planets to class 0 and thus they can't be restored)

Oh and I'm still testing the 1.3 1 Beta and working on INVADER-Mod 4.0 So I'm still testing things.

The race picture in the first and second screen are the Ur Quan Kor-Ah.
But a great idea and some nice add-ons none-the-less.

The Koh-Ah are a better choice than the Kzea-Zah, The former exists to erradicate all life and the latter to subjugate it.

Is it possible to set the Koh-Ah to play as genicidioal/Xenophobic maniacs each game?

New bugs were introduced because Stardock added an Invasion cap with the new beta.
(personally im a little hurt because it ruined the destroy/restore planet portion of the mod with there ussaul excuse of the AI can't use it.)

So because of the bugs introduced by the "new cap" you will be getting a severly nerfed INVADER-Mod. I added economic bonuses for the labs so when you invent all techs the buildings still have some purpose.

I'm working on alot of things including weapon balance ect. and the mod would be released as Is If I had a website to host. I'm thinking of starting a temporary Geocities site to upload the mod to.
