Ships and Technology Research

Hi all,

Is there a way to view the needed technologies to research for a specific ship design? Say I have a custom design that hasn't come up in my ship build list yet and I need to know which techs to research to obtain that ship....how do I do that?

In the research window, when you click on a tech, it tells you if it unlocks any ship designs and what else you need to unlock the ship.

Have you remembered to increase your miniturization? Ships designs built with increased miniturization tend not to have the required space to be built without it.
