3D Rotation Will Not Stay!!!!!!!!!

Major Bug

This is a major bug! It's sooo bad that I simply cannot play the game.

When I rotate the 3D map view and let go of the mouse it goes back to the way it was. Oh my God!!!!!!! This is so pathetically unbelievable. I can't play like that.

I refuse to play this game. It would be so awesome to play if it just stayed where I put it on the 3D rotation map view. REDICULOUS!!!!!!!!! I'm going to go to the store and ask for my money back.

Let me know when you guys patch this MAJOR flaw.

How about toggling off the "snap back view" option in the menu.

Its always a good idea to make sure the problem is actually a bug (by at least asking, if not researching yourself) before coming to the forums and screaming "OMFG TEH BUGZ!!1! MUNNY BAK, MUNNY BAK!!!11!!1!!" In this case, your problem isn't even a bug. It would have been a design decision to make the camera always snap back. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean its a bug. I read way too many of these kinds of threads. We need to encourage the people at Stardock instead of screaming "BUGZ!!1!!!" every time we don't like something. They treat their customers better than any company, and I want that treatment to feel mutual.

Can not play the game?

Seriously, that's a tad over reaction I think. It isn't even a bug.

i find it more amazing how many people say about stuf fon this forum when what they ask for is in the options, its amazing, do people never check the options menu anymore before playing games?, i dunno about anybody else, but i never start a game without going through the options completyely first making sure everything is set up graphically and anylittle tidbits i might want to enable or disable

Okay, perhaps the OP just overlooked it...  and perhaps it was indeed a bit of an overreaction on their part...  however, they have been helped... and they were grateful for the help... and we've got our ribbing in...so let's move on, shall we?

End Transmission.
