Running GCII in a window

Does anyone know how to make the game run in a window on XP?

There is a checkoff on the video configuration screen - you have to be running at a base (system) resolution higher than 1024x768 though. That's the min resolution for the game.

Game resolution needs to be less than desktop for window mode to work. For example, game resolution 1024x768, desktop 1280x1024.

The windowed mode works especially well for multi-monitor setups as it allows access to the other screens as well without ALT+TAB use.

Actually if you make the window the same size as the desktop it works pretty much like full screen mode except that alt-tabbing and/or bringing up your task bar becomes much much faster and, as mentioned, you can access a 2nd monitor directly from GC.
