It would be nice to have a way to rename and change the description of a ship design without having to edit it and "upgrade" the ships in service to change their design name. I am specifically refering to the design name, not the individual ship. For example, if I have created the design "Battleship MK1" with lasers and a few turns aquire gun tech and design "GunShip MK1" and want to rename "Battleship MK1" to "BeamShip MK1" without changing any of its ordenance I will have to recreate it, and upgrade my "Battleship MK1" ships in circulation to avoid having a mix of both names. Also, if I decide to change the description of a ship it will also not affect ships in circulation and will require me to edit/upgrade the ship.
