I managed to add a comment on one thread only to have it actually turn up on another instead. Due to the current lack of clear indication of what one has actually read or not I cannot find them again...though if anyone sees a comment by me on 2 different threads that is identical....that's the one...and it's obvious which was the wrong thread...

I can't reproduce the problem, but i'll keep an eye out for it.

I'm using Opera 9.01 and when I view a thread I see some images while others show up quickly and then "disappear" and some never show at all. In most cases a small blue square is left as a placeholder. I'm seeing the site's smileys but images posted linked to other internet sites seem to be the ones that don't display.

Thanks for pointing this out. We have some JavaScript that resizes images that are larger then the post area to help prevent horizontal scrolling from happening on the thread. Unfortunately, it appears the way we are doing it makes Opera freak out. We'll get to fixing this as well. I'll add it to my to-do list. Sorry in advance for the troubles.

Would anyone be able to tell me when (approximately) the new forums are accessible through StardockCentral?

Right now when I try to post through SDC (which still seems to use the old forum), I can't create any linebreaks. This is NOT like the previous problem where line-breaks just wouldn't show up, but as in: "nothing happens when I hit the [Enter]-button". Sometimes this happens right on line 1, sometimes I am actually able to create a paragraph, but later on thats suddenly not possible anymore.

We are going to try and get the Stardock and WinCustomize forums (for SDC and WC Browser) converted over this week.  Possibly today but more likely in the next day or two.

[edit] by the way, as a request (and I admit that I don't know how simple or logical it would be from the web-forum-developpers' point of view), is it possible to add - one day - an option for users to not only edit their post but to be able to delete (in case of doubles for example) or even to PM (but I understand that that would be much more intricate)...?
