Modding New Troop Modules

Is it possible?

Is it possible to mod new troop modules?
I've tried and it all works fine until I try to load people on to them, at which point the game decides that my new troop modules carry 0 people.
I have literally copied and pasted the original troop module, changed the internal name and changed the display name.
Have I forgotten something, or does this not work yet?

I haven't been able to get it to work, and all I was doing was changing the model for the file. Same goes with Colony modules.

Yeah, but it's odd that it works fine except it won't let me put any troops in. Oh well, I'll just have to work around it.
Maybe the brief modding guide should be updated to state which modules can be modded and which ones can't.

That really happened to me too, I wanted to make my own clones modules in my Acclamator-class transport, but when I lunch it it can't be more troops then 0

I have tried this too, and it won't work. I suspect that there is a line of code somewhere that allows the load troops pop-up to come up, and it probably uses the internal name of the troop modules to do it. My guess is that this was a work-around getting the colony and troop modules to work on the same popup... although why they couldn't key off something else is beyond me.

Anyway, too bad!
