What is your Custom Race like?

Mine is Homo Superior....basically a bit before the humans gave away their claim to fame to the other races a branch of humans set off to colonize Alpha Centauri. 10% to Planet Quality, 20% to Research, and 30% to Social Production in addition to the custom race bonuses.

Mine is the Galactic Republic, and I never play with the Humans on because my concept is dozens of races joined Humanity. The colors are Orange, with gold and orange spaceships, weapons and engines tech, and minor bonuses in pretty much every area.

I usually create Cylons So that the Yor dont feel lonely as only evil robots.

+20% pop growth, +20 economics and something random. Political party is Technologists with research and sensor bonus.

Mine is the Bruares, led by Jalce, with a homeworld of Jalilie.
Names after some of my EQ chars ( Bruare and Jalce are Barb wars, Jalilie is a Barb shammy)
Main ship color is purple with a green fringe.
Political party is Technologist.
+50% military spending and +70% population growth

The Bevora Conglomerate.

They are a human, female orientated race who fled Earth as soon as the hyperdrive was available. Essentially, they are a mega rich corporation who has gained enough wealth to buy the Hyperdrive technology, declare themselves a seperate race, and begin to build an entirely new infrastructure. Due to this, the Bevorians often prefer to do business with other races, and attempt to keep the peace in order to keep trade routes open. They will happily sell off their technologies to trusted allies in order to gain a little extra cash on the side, and are also known to use their wealth and influence to bribe certain races into peace.

They recieve bonuses to their production, pop. growth and trading.

Mine is the Dark Humans. I made them so powerful, that the Dreadlords run when they see them.

They have the "His Divine Shadow" Portrait.

My cusem race has a lot of moral, econ, and pop growth. I see the pop growth as good tax colectors. I change the name each game.

My custom race is Hole led by non other than Courtney Love (I figure the other races will hate me right off when they see who my leader is, hehe, it's a little joke for myself). Bonuses in moral, econ, and pop growth as well. Techs are stellar cartography and engines. Party is Industrialist.

I pretty much make a new custom race every time I start a new game...its more fun than sticking with the same custom race, I find. I've played as Cylons, the Empire, the Terran Empire (evil Star Trek universe), and a couple of other just random ones. My newest is the D.O.O.P. federation, headed by Zapp Brannigan - every decision is made according to "Brannigan's Law"...even tracked down some decent pictures of ol' Zapp and the DOOP logo. I'd put 'em up, but that might violate copyright. Usually, I choose technologist politics, with points in espionage, diplomacy, and sensors.
