Star Base Mods

OK, I am a newby and need help. I start Star Bases and when I click on them they say I can add up to 12 modules. BUT I CAN'T.

I can't add them once they are built and I can't upgrade the Construction ship in the shipyard even though I am in the nid-game and should have lots of modules. How do I get them?

Send the constructors to the starbases. When they get there, a menu will pop up showing you what modules can be installed.

Thanks for that. I too had no idea how to add modules to starbases once I'd created the base.

I think there is a UP issue about starbase module limits.

As you research more manufacturing and weapons technologies, more modules become available, too. I think the max on a mining starbase is somewhere around 45 modules or something like that.

And FYI, you can't put multiple Constructor modules on a single constructor. Also, if you want to redesign the constructor ships to make them faster, etc, you need to save the upgraded design with a new name.
