Strange FoW (Screenshot)

I'm playing v1.2 and this is what i see quite often:

Planets B and E have a large senor range, while planets A, C and D can hardly see anything. Is there a reason for this?
i have build eyes of the universe and there are no ships nearby.
The FoW will disapear when i move a ship in and come back when i move the ship out.
Reloading the game doesn't change anything.

Are they captured planets?
I notice this with any planet I capture.

I have seen this too, it sometimes corrects itself when the planet produces a new ship (or maybe a building will do it too). Dunno if it always works that way tho

The FOW behaves kind of strange in my games sometimes. It's really obvious after building Eyes of the Universe, but it also happens before that.
Sometimes the line of sight is a lot less than it should be. However clicking on a ship changes that. I noticed that it happens a lot when there are two fleets on the same square or near a planet/star (1-2 squares distance). I think it always works correctly for freighters on trade routes.

Indeed I have strange behaviour with my Sensor ships sometimes. Especially when they are destroyed, I often still can see their FOV.

Does anyone know whether the senosr range upgrades for starbases work correctly, if you don't have eyes of the universe? I'm asking because in my game (with eotu) SB go totaly blind wih any sensor upgrades.

LOL. A big +1 in sensor span for a whole constructor. Don't waste your time, just park a ship there.
