I really need some insight on this.

Why do you really need to cheat?
If your having such a hard time turn down the difficulty.

One way you can cheat is edit your faction/alian 's xml file to give you a bonus to what ever you want.

veiw your shortcuts properties and add cheat to the end of the path. Then ingame use clt + _ whatever. But i find its funner without cheats...

http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/code/925349.html

everything you need is right there

EDIT: and guys, if he wants to cheat, let the man cheat.

As long as he isnt ruining other people's fun by cheating online, why the hell should you care? Sometimes cheating isnt just for the purpose of beating the game, the right cheats can make things particularly interesting if employed properly...

I really just want money cheat.

That one ruins the fun of the game, IMO. If you want it easier, change the XML to give yourself a 200 point bonus in everything. You don't have to use the cheat codes, but it works.

For the codes: Create a desktop shortcut, and use the following target exactly
"C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\galciv2.exe" cheat

Ctrl+m to use the money cheat.

Good luck in Iraq.
