How 2 get troups in a transporter (newbie)

if you right click on that blue event square on the side of the screen, it automatically fills up, if you are manually launching them, just make sure you have the slider set all the way to the right.

it also sorta sounds like you might be upgrading ships to troop transports, in that case, you still have to manually fill them up with troops.

also, do you have the latest patch?

Did you launch it from a planet, or did you upgrade another ship into a transport?

It sounds like you upgraded - the game starts an upgraded transport with a population of 1. If you upgrade, you first have to move it to one of your planets to pick up troops.

When you launch it again, you will get a dialog asking how many people you want to put aboard. Be careful if the population is low, because you don't want to remove your entire colony! After you launch from your own planet, you will be ready to invade someone else's.

If you built the transport on a planet, did you set the slider dialog to 1 when you launched it?
